Academisthan.com is a “not for profit” initiative started by and for the teaching faculty serving the Higher Education Institutions. It is a voluntary attempt to get the entire faculty body in India and across the globe on a single platform. Academisthan is a forward looking and progressive not-for-profit organization that is at the forefront of providing an integrated platform for the academic community – of the teachers, by the teachers and for the teachers.
Shri DeepakKumar Mukadam has graduated in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and gotten a Diploma in Advertising Management from Chetna Institute of Management in Mumbai. He has been appointed as the Chancellor Nominee for the Management Council of the University of Mumbai for the period 2017-2022.
He is also a Member of the Board of Governors Indian Institute of Management.
He is an ex-Senate Member of the University of Mumbai, for ten years from 2000-2010. He has worked in various university Committees, dealing with issues related to Finance, Administration and Examination.
He was also a part of the Committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor to investigate Financial and other irregularities of an Educational Institutions. He was a part of the Committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor for the Sesquicentennial celebrations of Mumbai University, along with renowned Industrialists like Godrej, Garware, etc.
He was a Member of the Exam Vigilance Committee, Telephone Controlling Committee, Advisory Committee, Fact Finding Committee of Mumbai University.
He is a Director in Jaybee Steel Treaters Pvt. Ltd. and Independent Director in Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd. For work, has visited U.S.A, U.K., Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, China, UAE, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.
On the social forum, He has held various positions in Janakalyan Sahakari Bank Ltd. between 2002 & 2014.
He is also a Life Member of Indo-Australian Society.
